Whistler Samurai Bowl is Looking for a Head Cook!
Position: Head Cook
Position Available: 1
Employer: Yaru Sushi Inc. o/a Whistler Samurai Bowl
Working Location: #101-2011 Innsbruck Drive, Whistler, BC V8E 0N3
Working Conditions:
- Permanent, Full-time
- Wage: $35.00 per hour
- Working hours: 30~40 hours per week
Job Duties:
- Coordinate the kitchen’s daily activities and assign tasks to the kitchen staff.
- In charge of daily kitchen operations considering any special occasions, events, reservations and business trends.
- Plan, develop, and create new menus.
- Prepare and cook dishes and/or specialty foods.
- Order ingredients/supplies and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
- Check regularly that the equipment and work areas are kept spotless.
- Ensure food meets quality standards.
- Participate in plan meetings for staffing, new/seasonal menus and promotions etc., if necessary.
- Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of cooking experience
- Must be available to work holidays and at least one day on weekend
- Completion of high school
- Language: English
