Job Description

HOURS & HOURLY RATE: 

$34.62 hourly

30 to 40 hours / week

Minimum wage is guaranteed

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Determine the size of food portion & cost
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition of food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes of foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean the kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen preparations
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets qualitty standards

CREDENTIALS: 

  • Certificates, licenses, memberships and courses (Food Safety Certificate, First Aid Certificate)

EXPERIENCE & SPECIALIZATION

Specialise in Szechuan, Thai, and International cuisins
