We are currently searching for a Maintenance Mechanic.

Duties:
• Assemble mechanical equipment
• Assemble stationary industrial machinery
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair or replace defective machinery parts
• Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
• Installing machinery and equipment

You will be required to train apprentices.

Area of Specialization:
• Troubleshooting
• Bearing, seals and packing
• Welding

Equipment and machinery experience:
• Electrical and electronic controls
• Gas compressors
• Industrial and stationary engine
• Lathes and other machining tools
• Monorails
• Pneumatic system
• Power tools
• Press brakes and metalworking equipment
• Pumps and compressors
• Tool grinders
• Welding equipment
• Forklift

Welding Techniques:
• Oxy-acetylene welding (OAW)
• Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)

Work Setting:
• Machinery installation
• Maintenance
• Repair
• Machine set-up

Work Site Environment:
• Noisy, Odours

Credentials:
• Forklift Operator Certification

Requirements:
• Two to three years of work experience.
• training courses or a vocational program in industrial mechanic (millwright)

Terms of Employment:
Permanent Position/40 hours per week
Should be available to work a variable work schedule

Work Location:
200 A Hanlan Rd, Woodbridge, ON, L4L 3R7

Hours of Work:
From Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
