Job Description

Khakh family in Surrey is looking for a full time caring, loving, and responsible and a patient caregiver for their Infant. The caregiver will be working at their residence located in Surrey, BC, V3R 4G3

Job Designation: Child Caregiver

Language Preference: English

Education: Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent. Course in Child Care will be an asset.
Work Setting: Employer’s Home

Wage:  C$20.00/ hr

Experience:1 month to less than 7 months

Location: Surrey, BC, V3R 4G3

Job duties

• Supervise the child attentively when parents are not at home.
• Prepare infant food and feed infant.
• Regularly changing diapers, clothes and managing hygiene.
• Safely and gently bath infant, maintain regular sleep schedule and nap time.
• Maintaining a record of the child feeding, sleeping and diaper changes and notable activities.  
• Observe any sign of illness or discomfort, and follow health protocols
• Keeping hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the house.
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties.

Please note no smoking is allowed in or around our house and we seek strictly a non-smoking person.

WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Full time and permanent position, works 40 hrs. per week
• Vacation pay of 4% of wages per year or 10 days paid vacation.
