Job Description

Mr. and Mrs Sidhu is looking for a patient, hardworking, attentive, trustworthy caregiver for their elderly parents. The care will be taken at her home situated Caledon, ONTARIO, Canada L7C3Z7

Job title: Elderly Caregiver

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40hr/week)

Vacancy: 1

Wage: C$24.00/hr.

Language Requirement: English.

Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate.

Experience: 7 months to 1 year.

Start Date: As soon as possible

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure home environment is safe and healthy.
• Administer medication as per the doctor instruction.
• Assist the client with regular exercise routine prescribed by the healthcare provider.  
• Take full responsibility for the house hold when residents are away and ensure the elderly are never left alone.  
• Accompanying the elderly to the doctor’s appointment.
• Wash clean the elderly’s clothing and, make their bed.
• Support the emotion and wellbeing of elderly.
• Oversee and provide care for him.
• Cook and provide healthy meals as directed by the doctor.
• Assist, support with personal care tasks, including oral hygiene and grooming.
• Perform hygiene task like cleaning up after meals and washing soiled bedding and clothing.
