Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and ensure consistency and texture
• Estimate food requirements for their realization including costs
• Prepare and cook meals or individual dishes and foods such as burgers, pizza and wraps
• Chop, slice and prepare sauces based on restaurant's menu
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment for kitchen 
• Add toppings and sauces to enhance appearance and flavor of pizza
• Check appearance and texture to meet restaurant's standards
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Adjust cooking times to ensure food is cooked perfectly and avoid overcooking or undercooking.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Manage the daily operations of kitchen and inspect food service areas
• Oversee and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
