Porto Displays Canada Inc., a leader in manufacturing custom SEG displays, is seeking a dedicated Light Duty Cleaner to ensure a clean and welcoming work environment at our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean production floors, ensuring safety standards by promptly addressing spills and debris.
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors throughout the facility, including production and common areas.
- Dust and clean office furniture, equipment, and workstations in office and manufacturing zones.
- Sanitize shared areas such as kitchen and bathroom facilities, including all fixtures and appliances.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently by emptying bins across office and manufacturing zones and sorting recyclable materials.
- Clean windows, walls, and ceilings in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and workplace essentials as needed.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal hygiene and safety across all areas.
Qualifications
- Education: No formal education required.
- Experience: Previous experience in cleaning of at least 7 months is required.
- Comfortable using various cleaning materials and equipment.
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the role.
- Proficiency in English for workplace communication.
Employment Terms
- Position Type: Permanent, full-time (30 hours per week minimum, with overtime as needed). Part-time applicants will also be considered.
- Compensation: $34.07 per hour.
- Benefits: 10 business days of paid vacation per year.
- Relocation Support: Employer covers relocation costs.
