Job Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of dishes, ensuring authenticity and flavor.
- Ensure that all food preparation and service meet high standards.
- Supervise kitchen and service activities, resolving any issues quickly.
- Maintain a frequent inventory check to ensure supplies are used efficiently and restocked whenever necessary.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene to avoid contamination.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen, meeting or exceeding all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Estimate food requirements and costs, plan menus, and monitor and order supplies.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Manage kitchen operations.
- Calculate the necessary quantities of ingredients and their costs to maintain budget control and minimize waste.
- Promote a collaborative and supportive work environment through professionalism and positivity.
- Perform other essential job duties as required.
Required Education & Experience
- High school.
- Relevant education (degree/diploma/certificate) or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
