Location: Surrey, BC, V3S 5K7
Employment Type: Full-time
Wage: $33.50/hour for 40 hours/week + 4% vacation pay
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- A college program in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field is an asset.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and record invoices.
- Maintain financial records and balance accounts using manual and computerized systems.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare trial balances, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
- Coordinate with the company’s accountant and provide necessary financial paperwork.
- Prepare financial and accounting reports.
- Process full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and payable.
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques, payments for bills, taxes, and utilities.
- Prepare tax returns and other bookkeeping services as needed.
