Position: Bookkeeper (NOC: 12200)

Number of Positions: 01 (One)
Location: Surrey, BC, V3S 5K7
Employment Type: Full-time
Wage: $33.50/hour for 40 hours/week + 4% vacation pay

 

Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school education is required.
  • A college program in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field is an asset.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and record invoices.
  • Maintain financial records and balance accounts using manual and computerized systems.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
  • Prepare trial balances, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
  • Coordinate with the company’s accountant and provide necessary financial paperwork.
  • Prepare financial and accounting reports.
  • Process full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts receivable and payable.
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques, payments for bills, taxes, and utilities.
  • Prepare tax returns and other bookkeeping services as needed.
