Home Support Worker (NOC: 44101)
The Sidhu Family is currently looking for a Full-Time Permanent Home Support worker for their mother.
Location: Surrey, BC
Wages: $ 23.00/ hr (30 hours/week).
Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary.
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Job duties:
- Provide personal care and Companionship
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Provide other alternative forms of health care to patients
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Personal Skills:
- Reliable, trustworthy, warm, and calm.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Energetic and comfortable with children.
- Flexible schedule: availability for morning and day shifts is required.
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- Minimum 6 months of experience in similar
- CPR / First aid certification would be an asset
- Language: English
