Full-time Office Administrator – 1427176 B.C. Ltd. DBA Island Home Furniture
Location: 1612 Northfield Rd, Nanaimo, BC
Position: Office Administrator
Pay: $29 per hour, with overtime and benefits
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and great at keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a skilled Office Administrator to join the Island Home Furniture team! You’ll handle a variety of office tasks to support our day-to-day operations and keep the office efficient and welcoming.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage office communications, including answering phones and emails
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and office activities
- Maintain office supplies, inventory, and records
- Prepare and process documents, reports, and data entry
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth business operations
- Assist with bookkeeping and basic financial tasks (invoicing, expense tracking)
- Support HR tasks such as onboarding and maintaining employee records
Required Skills:
- College Diploma or Degree
- Experience of least 1-2 years in office administration or a related role
- Fluent in English
