Vacation Internationale Inc is the largest Owner controlled timeshare company in the World . (Operating name) The Clock Tower Hotel is one of 45+ properties located at 4341 Village lane Whistler, BC V8E 1M9 

We have 15 units and currently employee 8 employees at this location in the hospitality sector. Vacation Internationale has been in operation since 1993

The principal business activity at this work location is a European-style inn located right in the heart of Whistler Village great for skiing, downhill biking and shopping. Our hotel offers 15 full kitchen, air-conditioned units for nightly rental though our timeshare owners.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Organize, delegate and evaluate the work of hotel staff

Determine labour requirements, schedule staff and approve time-off requests

Evaluate operations and resolve operational issues

Establish administrative protocols and ensure the are adequately followed

Responsible for recruiting, hiring and supporting the development of staff

Ordering inventory, equipment and supplies required for departmental operations

Co-ordinate the flow of information internally

Respond to telephone and electronic enquiries from customers, third parties and internal departments

Arrange for third party services such as for maintenance and repair work

Set up and maintain internal information filing systems

Support sales, customer service and business development activities

Prepare documentation such as reports, promotional materials and internal templates

Involved in organizing and promoting special offers, deals or promotions

Other related duties as required by management

 

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Familiarity with MS Office and general computer operation skills.

Excellent verbal communication skills in person and via telephone.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with owners and staff members.

Basic math, inventory, and cash handling skills.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

 

Physical Demands of the Position:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, twist; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb stairs and will often be required to lift/push/pull 25-50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
