Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate, assign, and review security guards' and other service workers' work, ensuring adherence to company standards and protocols.
- Establish work schedules and procedures for security operations, coordinating activities with other departments as needed.
- Resolve work-related problems promptly and effectively, maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
- Hire, train, and mentor security personnel in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Requisition necessary supplies and materials to support security operations, ensuring adequate resources are always available.
- Ensure the smooth operation of security systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repair work as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of security measures, implementing improvements as needed to enhance the protection of client assets and personnel.
- Oversee security personnel's performance, conducting regular evaluations and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to mitigate risks and respond effectively to security threats.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other external stakeholders to address security concerns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop security strategies.
- Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in security management, incorporating relevant advancements into company policies and procedures.
- Assist with other job duties that require professionalism, integrity, and dedication to ILPS's client and employee safety and security.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Valid security license issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with guests, staff, and law enforcement personnel.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of crowd control techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and emergency response procedures.
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and evaluating security protocols, with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and propose improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to address and resolve work-related issues quickly and efficiently, and to implement corrective actions as needed.
