We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Duties: 

1. Oversee kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring efficient workflow and coordination between food preparation and service areas.
2. Monitor and ensure that staff are adhering to portion control standards and maintaining consistency in food quality and presentation.
3. Assign daily tasks, providing clear instructions to ensure that all operational aspects are covered.
4. Provide hands-on training to new and existing employees on their specific job roles, including food preparation techniques, serving protocols, and operational tasks.
5. Assess daily and weekly sales forecasts to determine necessary ingredients and supplies to meet the demand. Work with suppliers to order the required items, ensuring timely delivery and adequate stock levels.
6. Track inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages, maintaining efficient food production.
7. Conduct interviews, screen candidates, and participate in the hiring process to recruit suitable staff for the restaurant. Collaborate with management to ensure that all new hires meet the required qualifications and fit the team culture.
8. Regularly inspect food preparation and service areas to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
9. Monitor the presentation and temperature of food to ensure consistency in quality. Ensure staff is maintaining excellent customer service and addressing any issues that arise.
10. Work closely with management to create and monitor the restaurant’s operating budget. Estimate future costs for ingredients, supplies, and labor to ensure profitability while maintaining quality service.
11. Actively engage with customers, providing prompt and professional resolution to any complaints or concerns regarding food quality, service, or dining experience. Document complaints and follow up with appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
12. Maintain accurate sales records and monitor waste levels to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs.
13. Track equipment maintenance and repair needs to avoid disruptions in operations.
14. Compile regular reports detailing restaurant performance, including sales figures, customer feedback, staff productivity, and cost analysis.
15. Collect and review customer orders, ensuring that all special requests and dietary preferences are communicated clearly to the kitchen team.
16. Organize and prioritize food orders during peak service times to maintain smooth and timely kitchen operations. Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels for different shifts based on anticipated customer volume.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2. Previous at least 7 months to 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the food service industry is required, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
3. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
5. Ability to handle fast-paced environments and multitask effectively.
6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
