Work Location: Various Locations across Vancouver Island

Job Title: Curtain/Blind Installer (NOC 73200)

Terms of Employment: 30-40 hours per week, full-time/Permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $28.85- $31.50 Per hour (Depending on experience)

No of Positions: 2

Job Duties:

• Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
• Install, repair, and service interior horizontal blinds, vertical blinds, roller blinds, motorized blinds, etc
• Use hand and power tools, ensuring they operate smoothly and securely.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure proper function of installed window coverings, ensuring they meet customer requirements and safety standards.
• Ability to travel to various work site locations

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of High School

Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in curtain/blind installation, or in a related construction field is required.

Language: English

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Physically demanding; Attention to detail
