Welder

• Location: 7370 Bramalea Road, Unit - 14, Mississauga, ON L5S 1N6, Canada.
• Workplace information: On site
• Salary: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
• Total work hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment/Full time
• Work Conditions: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, On Call, To be determined, Weekend
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate metal components for transport vehicles and equipment according to specifications.
• Perform welding repairs on damaged vehicle parts to ensure safety and functionality.
• Inspect welds and materials for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
• Collaborate with engineers and mechanics to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations.
• Cut and shape metal pieces using various tools and techniques to fit project needs.
• Document and report welding activities and materials used for inventory and tracking purposes.
• Train and mentor junior welders on best practices and safety measures in welding.
• Participate in regular maintenance of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
