Job Description

World Fresh Seafood Ltd. is looking for 1 financial officer to join our team.

Job Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year or more

Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, MS Office, Spreadsheet

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Attention to detail, Repetitive tasks, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure.

Personal suitability: Accurate, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Time management, Adaptability.

Job Duties:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll,
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation,
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems,
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements,
• Post journal entries,
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports,
• Prepare tax returns,
• Prepare trial balance of books,
• Reconcile accounts.

Terms of employment: Permanent position

Salary: $26.11/hour

Benefits: Relocation costs covered by the employer

Work Hours: 35 hours per week
