Job Description:
Supervise activities of sous-chefs, kitchen hepers, and cooks.
Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
Preparing and cooking traditional Indian cuisine.
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
Create new recipes and plan menus.
Innovate and adapt traditional recipes to modern tastes while maintaining authenticity.
Have an good understandingn of how to balance the flavours of spicy, tangy, sweet, and savoury in the dishes.
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment according to health and safety regulations.
Train junior chefs and kitchen staff on Indian cooking techniques and recipe execution.
