Job Description

Sicamous Super 8 Motel located at 1120 Riverside Ave Sicamous V0E 2V0 is looking for a full-time Front Desk Manager - Accommodation Services Manager. We are committed to providing 24-hour service as part of our commitment to make our guest's visit as pleasant and comfortable as possible. These are year-round, full–time positions.

Job Responsibility:
Oversee the Room Attendants, Houseperson, and Laundry Attendants of their duties.
Perform inspections of guest rooms to ensure the room attendants adhere to hotel standards. Managing inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies are available to accommodate guest and business demands.
Conduct orientation and in-service training to explain policies and work procedures and demonstrate the use and maintenance of equipment.
Examine the place in case any repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment is required and report to management. Prepare and inspect guest rooms as per Front Office, Sales, and /or GM's request for any VIP guests.
Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage & may perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full-time. These are year-round, full–time positions.

Start date: Start as soon as possible
Offered wage: We offer $31.00/hr. 40 hours/week.

Qualifications:
Looking for a High school Graduate passionate about customer service.
Post Secondary Education and OR 2 - 3 years of Experience in the hotel/ motel industry.
Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
Possess good communication skills.
