Full-time Retail Sales Supervisor – 1427176 B.C. Ltd. DBA Island Home Furniture

Location: 1612 Northfield Rd, Nanaimo, BC
Position: Retail Sales Supervisor
Pay: $24.50 per hour, with overtime and benefits
Job Type: Permanent, full-time (35-40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

We’re looking for a motivated Retail Sales Supervisor to join our team at Island Home Furniture. You’ll lead the sales floor, support the staff, and make sure our customers leave happy. If you have retail experience and love helping people, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise the sales team and cashiers, ensuring smooth operations
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to team members
• Solve customer problems, process returns, and authorize payments
• Keep track of inventory and order stock when needed
• Help set up product displays and keep the store looking great
• Train new staff and monitor their performance
• Step in to manage the store when needed (open/close, handle escalated issues)

Required Skills:

• College Diploma or Degree
• At least 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience
• Fluent in English
