Shelf stocker – supermarket
$18 per hour / 40 – 50 hours per week (overtime paid after 40 work hours per week.
Must be able to work from 2:00AM onwards on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday including statutory holidays except Christmas and New Year’s day.
Able to carry up to 50lbs at a given time.
Familiarize self with product codes.
Bring products to the floor.
Remover products with best before dates of three days prior.
Stock shelves and display areas based on store schematics.
Ensure that correct price tags are on the products’ shelves.
Clean up area after merchandising.
Return empty trays and outdated products to storage.
Refer products with low inventory using product codes to delivery person for ordering.
Work conditions and physical capabilities expectations: repetitive tasks; physically demanding; attention to detail; bending, crouching, kneeling.
Personal suitability: client focus; efficient interpersonal skills; flexibility; organized; reliability; team player.
Experience is an asset.
Successful candidates will be trained.
