Job Description

Tranq Medical and Technology Inc. located at 215-3030 Pandosy St. Kelowna BC V1Y 1W2, is seeking to fill 3 (three) full-time permanent positions of a Web Developer.

The candidates must have:

• At least 3 years of active experience as a web developer.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field in numerical sciences.
• Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML, DevOps), Jenkins, Linux, Java, CSS, JSP, PHP, SQL, Web service design, MySQL, API, GitHub, IntelliJ IDEA, Performance testing and other technologies
• Strong English language skills

Duties on the job will include but not be limited to:

• Design and optimize websites to improve user experience and performance.
• Develop and implement new features and functionalities on the corporate site.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the website content.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Conduct website performance tests and optimize speed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and responsive.
• Develop and maintain documentation for web applications and code.
• Implement security measures to protect the website from cyber threats.
• Monitor website traffic and analyze user behavior to make improvements.

Location of work: 215-3030 Pandosy St. Kelowna BC V1Y

The position is compensated at $32.18 per hour with a minimum of 30 work hours per week. Benefits to be discussed after 3 months in the position include $2500 a year medical receipts reimbursement (for medical services such as medical, vision, dental, etc, as well as for medications, hospital services, products (such as glasses, contact lenses, orthopedic shoes), prescribed medical treatment, apparatus, laboratory exam and test, and other expenditures) and 10 business days of annual vacation.
