Job Title – Kitchen helper

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (at least 37.5 hours per week)

Wages: $16/ Hour

Number of Positions: 01

Language Requirement: English

Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible

Minimum Education Required: Completion of secondary school is usually required.

Work Experience Required: At least 1 year of work experience is required in a similar role

Job Location: 119, 5120 47 St North East, Calgary, AB, T3J 4K3, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare produce by removing skins and outer layers.
• Sanitize countertops, storage units, and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of waste and sanitize garbage bins.
• Organize and place incoming inventory in appropriate storage locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping and mopping, and provide support to chefs and other kitchen personnel.
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as portioning ingredients.
• Ensure all kitchen tools and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
• Help with the arrangement and plating of dishes before serving.
• Monitor kitchen supplies and notify the supervisor when stocks are low.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic work environment
