Responsibilities
Task
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, ensuring they meet specific requirements
- Cook food regularly or for special guests, adapting to their preferences and dietary needs.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, avoiding cross-contamination.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling, ensuring high standards.
- Lead and instruct kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee kitchen operations, maintain inventory, and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for health and safety standards.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
