Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Languages:

  • English

Education:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience:

  • Experience an asset

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

  1. Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as:

    • Taxes
    • Union dues
    • Garnishments
    • Insurance and pension plans
  2. Store, update, and retrieve financial data

  3. Prepare monthly financial statements

  4. Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans

  5. Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury

  6. Maintain payroll records

  7. Prepare T4 statements and other relevant financial statements

  8. Perform data entry
