Tasks

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, and other materials using woodworking machines, hand tools or power tools.
• Prepare tenders and quotations.
• Fit and install cabinet doors and kitchen accessories.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair, renovate wooden structures in commercial and residential projects.
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other fasten materials to make frameworks or props.
