Job Description
Wage: $29.95 hour (40 hours/week) + benefits as per Union collective agreement
Location of Work: Various locations across the Province of Ontario
Job Description:
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete
- Apply curing or surface treatments
- Install, maintain and restore various masonry structures such as foundations, floors, ceilings sidewalks, roads, patios and high-rise buildings
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures
- Fill hollow and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
- Check form work, granular base and steel reinforcement material
- Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
- level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
Job Requirements:
- Some experience in construction/landscaping trade an asset
- Ability to follow instructions & be trained
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Capable of working in a fast-paced labour-intensive environment
- Physical strength & able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs)
- Punctual and willingness to work long hours and Saturdays if required
