Job Description

Our well-established and renowned Hazoor Singh Transport Inc. located at 15352 Hurontario Street, Caledon, ON L7C 2C3, is looking for 3 permanent full-time 40 hours per week Long-Haul Truck Drivers to help us in hauling loads to various destinations in Canada.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

• No Degree, certificate or diploma needed.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Remuneration:

• $27.10 per hour for 40 to 60 hours per week permanent contract
