JOB SUMMARY:


As an Administrative Assistant atNorth Western Aluminum Ltd., you will be joining a dynamic team with over 40 years of combined glazing experience. From design and drafting to procurement, manufacturing, and installation, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality and efficient service to our clients. You will be an integral part of our team, providing support to our management and crew leaders. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, coordinating with clients, and maintaining accurate records. You will also assist with procurement and logistics, ensuring that our team has the tools and supplies they need to get the job done.

 

JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION AND DUTIES:

  • Prepare reports, invoices and other related documents for organizations, suppliers and clients
  • Input, collect and review data for reports
  • Scan and photocopy documents for electronic databases
  • Answer phone calls and electronic enquiries and relay messages to internal departments
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings for employer
  • Maintain and review electronic data filing system regularly to ensure all records are updated
  • Arrange travel schedules and reservations
  • Monitor levels of office supplies and order as needed
  • Supervise and train office staff in procedures and software use
  • Record and prepare meeting minutes
  • Prioritize administrative tasks and meet deadlines
  • Other related duties as required

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of Secondary School is required
  • At least one year of clerical experience is required
  • Able to read, write and speak in English

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent Full-time, Long-term.

 

WAGES: $ 28.90 per hour

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week

 

OVERTIME: One and one-half times the regular wage rate as per provincial regulations.

 

BENEFITS PACKAGE:

  • Insurance from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board covered by the employer.
  • Vacation pay as per provincial regulations will be paid each payday on a semi-monthly basis.
